Tome had been zoomed in on the bird's mouth when it let out a wail just like a human child's and she screamed too.
"D-don't eat me! PLEASE! This body is so tiny! It won't even keep you fed for A DAAAAAY!" The bird curled up into a feathery ball in Mob's palms.
